The AT&T Door-to-Door Sales Dispute
The AT&T "Gift Card Scam" – How One Door-to-Door Rep Cost Us $2,100
Investigative Report: An Unethical Sales Practice and Broken Promises
A Short Introduction
Many Americans assume AT&T, one of the oldest telecom companies in the country, is trustworthy and reputable. However, our experience with their door-to-door sales practices has revealed a disturbing pattern of misrepresentation, contract manipulation, and unfulfilled promises that cost us over $2,100. Due to this, we have discovered that there are nearly 50,000 complaints with the BBB, which we will show later.
How It Happened
On June 13, 2025, an AT&T door-to-door sales representative, Jacob A. Ellis, came to our home offering:
1) Two phones with $200 gift cards for each.
2) A gift card to pay off our current phone ($699.52).
3) A gift card for switching our Internet ($350).
4) No contracts and the lowest available rates, including a military discount.
Following his instructions, we paid off our phone, turned it in at an AT&T store, and activated new services. However, when it came time to receive the promised gift cards, AT&T refused to honor their commitments, giving conflicting reasons and shifting blame to us.
Evidence of Misrepresentation
1) Screenshots of account balances, receipts for phone payoffs, and email/chat records.
2) Speed tests showing promised fiber Internet speeds were not delivered.
3) Over 44,000 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website documenting similar experiences.
Legal Considerations
While we are expressing our personal experience, it’s important to note the following legal points:
False Advertising & Misrepresentation: Promises of gift cards and free phones that were not honored may constitute deceptive business practices under the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC).
Breach of Contract: Written or verbal agreements that were not fulfilled can be actionable under contract law.
Unfair Trade Practices: State consumer protection laws often prohibit tactics that mislead or coerce customers.
We have filed complaints with the FTC, BBB, and our state Attorney General’s office. We encourage consumers to document all interactions and hold companies accountable.
Lessons Learned
1) Always verify offers directly through the official company channels.
2) Be cautious with door-to-door sales reps, even from well-known companies.
3) Keep records of all communications, receipts, and screenshots.
AT&T’s handling of new customer promises reveals a disturbing lack of integrity, ethics, and accountability. Our experience shows that even long-standing companies can engage in deceptive practices when sales goals take priority over honesty.
Conclusion:
Consumers must remain vigilant when signing contracts or accepting promotions. Companies like AT&T must be held accountable for false advertising, misrepresentation, and breach of promises.
And as Paul Harvey would say, the "Rest of the Story" is below, including documents and videos.
An Investigative Consumer Report on Alleged Misrepresentation, Unfulfilled Promotions, and a $2,100 Customer Loss
Disclaimer:
This article documents my personal experience as a consumer. All statements are based on records, communications, and events as I experienced them. This is not a claim of criminal guilt, but a consumer report submitted for public awareness and regulatory review.
Background: Why This Matters
AT&T is one of the largest telecommunications providers in the United States. With that size comes influence—and responsibility. Consumers reasonably expect that advertised offers, especially those made during in-home sales presentations, will be honored as described.
This report documents my experience transitioning from Spectrum to AT&T after a door-to-door sales presentation that included specific promotional promises that were later disputed or denied.
The total financial impact, based on my records, is approximately $2,100+, excluding time spent attempting resolution, documentation, filing complaints, and making documentation videos.
Timeline of Events
June 13, 2025 – Initial Door-to-Door Offer - (See Video Proof)
At approximately 5:33 PM, an AT&T door-to-door sales representative identified as Jacob A. Ellis visited my home.
At the time:
1) I was satisfied with my existing provider (Spectrum)
2) I had no plans to switch services
The representative presented an offer that included:
1) Two free new phones
2) Promotional gift cards per phone activation
3) A phone payoff credit (up to $800)
4) A $350 internet-switch promotional gift card
5) Military-related pricing considerations
6) Statements suggesting minimal or no long-term contractual obligation
Based on these representations, I agreed to switch services.
What Was Promised vs. What Occurred
Phone Payoff Promotion
1) I was instructed to pay off my existing phone and turn it in at a local AT&T store
2) I paid $699.52 to satisfy the balance
3) I followed instructions exactly as provided
Result:
AT&T later declined to issue the corresponding payoff credit, citing reasons that were not disclosed at the time of sale.
Gift Card Promotions
1) I was told promotional gift cards would arrive approximately 45 days after activation
2) Some gift cards were received (totaling $350 for Internet)
3) Others associated with phone activation and payoff were denied or disputed
Key Issue:
AT&T later stated that additional steps were required—steps never disclosed during the sales presentation.
Attempts to Resolve the Issue
Over the following weeks, I:
1) Contacted AT&T via phone and online chat
2) Repeatedly explained the situation to multiple representatives
3) Submitted proof of payment and device turn-in
4) Requested review of recorded calls (AT&T records its calls)
Despite these efforts:
1) I received inconsistent explanations
2) No full resolution was provided
3) Responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to me as the customer
Financial Breakdown (Approximate)
| Item | Amount |
| Phone payoff paid | $699.52 |
| Promotional phone credits | $400–$500 |
| Value of Phone Turned In | $1,000.00 |
| Total Estimated Impact | $2,100.00 |
Figures based on promotional representations and documented payments.
Consumer Protection Concerns Raised
This case raises several issues relevant to consumer protection agencies:
1) Alleged misrepresentation during door-to-door sales
2) Failure to clearly disclose promotional requirements
3) Inconsistent post-sale explanations
4) Denial of advertised incentives after customer compliance
5) Potential pattern, based on publicly available complaint volumes
Evidence Available
I have retained:
1) Screenshots of promotional materials
2) Proof of payment and payoff
3) Store receipts
4) Chat transcripts
5) Call logs and partial recordings
6) Speed test results and service documentation
7) Sensitive personal information has been redacted.
Why This Report Is Being Published
The purpose of this report is:
1) To document a consumer experience
2) To encourage transparency
3) To inform other consumers before they commit to similar offers
4) To support regulatory review if patterns are identified
I am also submitting this matter to:
1) The Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
2) State consumer protection authorities
3) The Better Business Bureau (BBB)
4) Other appropriate oversight entities
Closing Thoughts
Promotions should not rely on undisclosed conditions that only appear after a customer is fully committed. When companies rely on independent or contracted sales representatives, accountability must still rest with the company itself.
Consumers deserve:
1) Clear terms
2) Honest representations
3) Fair resolution when disputes arise
This report reflects my experience. Others are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence and keep thorough records when engaging in door-to-door or promotional sales offers.
Below is the additional information in images, texts, and videos. Yes, I do vent a bit in all my research results, and it is my free speech to do so, and I do this in hopes to bring these people to light, and so you know not to deal with them in the future...
The AT&T Gift Card Scam –
A Comedy of Lies, Broken Contracts, and
One Seriously Shady Door to Door Sales Rep!
OK, my friend—If you’re anything like me, you probably grew up thinking that American Telephone & Telegraph - AKA - AT&T, one of the oldest and largest telecom giants in the country, was a respectable, trustworthy, honest, & legit company. I mean, with all the slick branding, patriotic commercials, and “We Care About Our Customers” messaging, who wouldn't assume they’re the good guys?
And companies should always put their best foot forward to give the new customer/client that all import "First Impression", to retain that customer, or they will be off to the next shiny new deal from a competitor. For me, I don't care to change companies, and that is what the Shady Door to Door Sales Rep knew, so, he stooped low to get me to switch, and the "New Customer Experience" with AT&T is not pleasant at all.
Actually, it is rather regrettable, but, here we are, and we will transfer back to a "Proud All American" company when our contract expires. And like most people, I believed that when you sign a contract—especially as a new customer—the company would stand behind what was offered & promised. After all, that’s what contracts are for… right?
WRONG. Dead wrong.
Not with the "Un-American AT&T Company". Would you believe me if I told you I was lied to, manipulated by a door-to-door sales rep, and screwed out of over $2,100.00?
Yeah, I wouldn't have believed it either. But welcome to the New Customer Buyers Remorse Experience with AT&T — where customer loyalty means nothing, truth is optional & very rare, if at all, and your wallet is the ultimate prize, just like a thug and thief coming for your cash. And believe me, I have "Reached Out And Touched Several People" about this issue, with no results to get it resolved, and I am just getting warmed up...
Oh, I have told all of them that I have talked to on the phone, and AT&T does record those calls, and I also told everyone that I had chats with, which you will see here on the site, that I will be reporting them to the FTC, SEC, IN AG, and some other places yet to be revealed, like the BBB, and more. The online scam sites are very abundant, and I will be putting up the AT&T Gift Card Scam out for the world to see!
So, AT&T thinks they are the only ones who can record a call? Well, listen in to the call of trying to get this organized, and they just basically keep saying "NO, your F*&^%#D!"
Here’s what happened in short:
A smooth-talking rep shows up at my door, (see the video on this page, and his personal page on the blog HERE) claiming to offer better service than my current provider, Spectrum, and at a lower cost, with a Military Discount on Top of it all!
Kool, what is not to like about all that, right? To sweeten the deal, he promises hefty AT&T Gift Cards as part of the switch. Only later do I find out—after everything's installed, locked in, and billed—that he altered the wording on the offer, and the company has zero interest in honoring what was promised.
When I complained, AT&T’s phone reps response was essentially:
"I am sorry. I totally understand how you feel." They have apologized so many times on these calls that I cant even count how many times I have heard that word.
Now, if you visit their web site at https://www.att.com, you’ll see plenty of ads in there that are constantly changing. One that is there, and what we were promised is still on the site, and I just grabbed a screen shot of it, and here it is...

Now, they are saying it is "MY FAULT", as I did not put in for the Gift Card! Excuse me, what are you talking about? Jake Ellis, our door to door sales rep, took the info straight out of our Spectrum account, so he knew exactly what the amount was, and it was turned in with the order.
Mr. Jake Ellis NEVER said we need to fill out any paper work for anything. He said that 45 days AFTER ACTIVATION you would get your AT&T Gift Cards in the mail. Cool, no problem.
He also told us that if you want to get that AT&T Gift Card for your Phones Pay Off Balance, you will need to pay the phone off, and take that phone to a local AT&T store, which is exactly what we did, since we did not really need that phone, and if AT&T is paying it off, and giving us a new one, then AT&T is more than welcome to it, as that is just part of this Amazing Deal!
So, he also told us the $350.00 Gift Card for the Internet would show up in the mail as well, after our 45 days of activation. Awesome, just as Jake said, they showed up! I say THEY, as we receive 2 AT&T Gift Cards, not one like he said. However, they totaled $350.00, so it does not matter if it was one, or two.
Now, with all the different stories I am getting from all these phone calls jumping through all these red tape hoops just to get what was promised to me that would be sent in the mail, I am still puzzled as to what the hell is going on with this company of deception and lies. Oh, then I am starting to think - Slow those Frigging Horses Down, Clyde!
They must be laughing as they switch me from one customer service rep to another, where I have to restart the whole story, over, and over, and over again! Seriously, AT&T? Why do I have to get lost in your tangled jungle & web of lies and fraud, just to get what you promised, and when I do talk to another person, they tell me a different story than what Mr. Jake Ellis tells me sitting in my home?
Not only that, but we had Jake, and his friend Thomas over for a little supper snack one night, and was going to have them over again when we had the big BBQ going.
Hum, I could not figure out why he would not reply about that, and now, after finding out that he has purposely, lied and misrepresented the AT&T Gift Cards for all of these services to be transferred, perhaps he figured that I had already figured out his lies, and he was scared to come back.
No idea, and since I now know what kind of person he is, he will not be coming back into my home, and again, no door to door sales rep will ever come into my house, no matter how good of a company I think they are. We NEVER had any issues with Spectrum, and Spectrum NEVER Made a Promise that they did not keep. So AT&T, you need to take notes from an Honest and Ethical American Company like Spectrum.
I mean think about the above statements I just mentioned. We PAID OFF OUR PHONE, a total of $699.52, and turned it into the local AT&T Store, as instructed by Mr. Jake Ellis, which you will see receipts for all of that, and now, once we kept our end of the deal, AT&T DOES NOT want to keep their end of the deal?
The guy at the AT&T store was rather confused as to why we were bringing in that phone, however, he was a newly hired person and still learning, however, he was really nice and doing his best as he is still learning the mis guided and deceptive ways of AT&T on how to screw over your new customers, so we did not think anything bad or negative about that experience.
Talk About AT&T Having:
NO INTEGRITY!
NO HONESTY!
NO MORALS!
NO CREDIBILITY!
CONTRACTS ARE ONLY ONE SIDED WITH AT&T, Right? Talk about unethical behavior, and I have talked to several people at AT&T, and you would think that I might just find an HONEST, ETHICAL person there somewhere, with MORALS, and GOOD CHARACTER, that could get things fixed for us!
Nope, never happened, and I guess it is not surprising, as their door to door sales rep, Mr. Jake Ellis is the same way, as they all must get the same "This Is How You Screw Over Our New Phone & Internet Customers Out Of Thousands Of Their Hard Earned Dollars" training...
As the say: "The Nut, (or in this case, the BANANA), Does Not Fall Far From The Tree".
So, in the spirit of wanting to help out AT&T at no charge, as they seem to be Super Greedy, and just as a free volunteer job for them since I am such a nice and generous, honest individual with high integrity, high morals, and of good character, even though they just cheated me out of over two grand, I’ve gone ahead and created an updated logo for the WOKE, DEI, Lying, Dishonest, Misrepresentation AT&T Phone Company, and you can see it below.
Hope you like it and enjoy it as much as I do, and I am sure, thousands of other people will enjoy it as well! Download it and share with your friends too!
AT&T Shiny WOKE DEI Bell in 2025 and BEYOND—Because after this mess, there’s only one name that fits:

I will explain later in the video, and this write up on how that name came about, and even though it is the Truth, you may be getting a bit more upset with AT&T because of their Unethical Business Practices.
At the bottom of the page there are several pages, and videos that also back up that statement, with over 44,000 BBB Complaints of AT&T customers getting Screwed Over! Pure Evil and Pathetic, AT&T!
Be sure to check out all the videos and images to get the full story of how one sketchy rep, Mr. Jake Ellis, and a lazy, dishonest corporation cheated me out of $2,100.00+... and their reputation - Its toast!
Plus, I have spent over a month of my time to create this page, do the graphics and research, and make the amazing videos toward the bottom of this page. I sure hope you like them, and my friend, seriously think before you believe any word any AT&T Rep tells you.
Chances are, it is 100% Pure BS
, and Total Frigging Garbage
,
,
!

Lets take a look at the AT&T Logo's over the years, and see how they have changed over time. I think you just may be surprised!

Lets start at the very beginning, so everyone is on the same page of this entire AT&T Scam Fiasco.
Imagine if you will, you are sitting at home enjoying the peace and quiet on a Friday afternoon with not a low life, serial lying, serial scamming door to door sales rep in sight, until 5:33 PM, on June 13, 2025, and all that peace and quiet is now gone and interrupted, as he, the AT&T misleading scam representative, knocks on the door.
His name is Mr. Jacob A. Ellis, and he has $1,500.00 in AT&T Gift Cards that he wants to give me. Well, he had to really bump up the attraction with the cards, as I was perfectly happy where I was with Spectrum - An Honest American Company who never cheated me, or lied to us about anything.
We had been there for nearly 6 years, with no issues or complaints. A great, honest, professional company that AT&T needs to take some notes and training from to improve their customers over all experience.
I normally do not entertain any door to door sales people, as most are full of
, dishonest, and simply don't care about being a good human being, as they are only there for one thing, and one thing only, and that is to get you to sign a contract so they make a commission on the sale of new services or products, then they are soon off to a new town to scam unsuspecting good people.
Well, Mr. Jake Ellis was with AT&T, so I was like, that's cool, as I thought AT&T is a really reputable company in my mind, and would never stoop so low as to scam, lie to, or misrepresent their customers.
However, after this experience over the past several months, and from the findings from my research, I have totally changed my mind about AT&T, as I am sure you will be changing your mind after reviewing this scam report as well, and their door to door misleading sales rep should have been showed to the curb just like the rest of the scum bags that pester people while they are trying to relax at home.
So, lets start on June 13, 2025 at 5:33 PM, when Mr. Jacob A. Ellis knocked on my door, and got my doggy all stirred up, and "Disturbed My Peace", just like the song says that is playing in the background of the video below. Lets see that evidence in the "AT&T Rip Off Monkey Business" video below from the Head Ape himself...

I told Mr. Jake Ellis I was perfectly happy with my Spectrum, so, he had to figure out a plan to get in my house, and wow me with all those Gift Cards.
He told me I would get:

So, lets move on to the process in the home. Once we got further, I told him I really need to chat with the wife, even though what he was offering made total Cents! He had me log into my account to get the current balance of my phone, and wanted the "CODE" that would allow him to transfer and port my phone number. Hum, I thought that was odd since I told him I wanted to talk it over with the wife first, however, now I understand why he did what he did.
He did not care what was in My Best Interest, or what I wanted, he was only after what HE Wanted! Anyway, with what he was offering, if it was actually the truth, it would make Perfect CENTS to transfer to AT&T, even though he is a manipulative door to door sales rep.
I asked him what I had to do to get all these AT&T Gift Cards, and here was my instructions.
1) Pay off my wife's phone
2) Take that phone to a local AT&T Store to turn it in.
3) He had the pay off for the phone, and he turned it in with the paper work, so I would not think of anything different.
4) He said the AT&T Gift Cards would show up, after we hit the 45 Days of Activation.
I said that is it? I don't have to do anything except pay off the phone, and take it to any local AT&T Store, and I just sit back and wait for the AT&T Gift Cards? He said yes, that is all I had to do, as everything else is taken care of electronically.
He made a call, and the guy on the other end of the phone was asking me questions, and I did not understand exactly what he was saying, so, Jake said he would explain it to me. Hum... Does that sound a bit fishy or what?
The confusion was with the AT&T Gift Cards, and I did not understand exactly how we got the AT&T Gift Card from the paid off phone, as he said they will pay our phone off, but, refund us with a AT&T Gift Card for that amount.
So, I had to pay the phone off first, and then turn that phone into the AT&T Store in town, and then we would receive our AT&T Gift Card for that amount, which was $699.52. I was never instructed to do anything else, other than to pay off our phone, and turn that phone in, IF we wanted the AT&T Gift Card for that amount.
So, we had the option to keep the phone, and skip the AT&T Gift Card, however, with the new Free Phone, according to the Slick Talking Jake Ellis, why would we need to keep the old phone, which was not old at all anyway.
This whole negative experience just makes people sick, and there is nothing more evil than a company who does not honor their promises. If the sales rep has told the people wrong, then the company still needs to honor the contract, and take the money out of the sales reps paycheck, spank him a few times so he will know that if you lie, it will cost you, and if you continue to lie to our new customers just to try and get them to switch over, then you would be fired!
Seriously? I was thinking like a Totally, Honest, and Legit Business Owner, and you will see from the other reports, readings, and videos at the bottom, they, AT&T Rip Off Scam Monkey Butt Company, have a lot of their employees quit, as they simply refuse to lie to the customer, and do shady, underhanded, questionable BS
tactics just to make a buck!
I am just finding it hard to believe that a company the size of AT&T has to play such immoral, and illegal games!
So, from what I have gathered by the people I have talked to on the phone, with only one of those conversations being recorded, I get that sick feeling that they do not give a damn about the new client, as there are only a few places we can go to get services, and if we do not get it direct from AT&T, in this case, if we get it from another provider, there is still a chance that we are going to be using an AT&T Backbone. Read an article about that HERE.
So, in all honesty and seriousness, AT&T has just flipped me the Bird, as well as thousands upon thousands of other clients, and has no intentions of fixing THEIR FRAUD! Really, I guess it is MY Screw Up, as I should have just told this Door to Door Scammer to hit the road and to just F OFF like I do all the rest of them that knock on my door, pestering me at home!

Ok, now that we have a few basics out of the way, lets take a look at the AT&T Chat that prompted me to take further needed action, since Mr. Jake Ellis is probably thinking that I have figured out that he has lied, and misrepresented me on this whole new customer acquisition fiasco, and will not reply to me any more - Which, that is what liars, cheats, thieves, and scammers do!
This text chat conversation was with Mousam, starting at 9:00 am on a Thursday morning, on Sept. 11, 2025. I erased any important, personal information before posting it here for your review. Mousam would not disclose where he was located on the planet, but the one lady that did reveal where she was located, she was in a South Africa call center. I do not know for a fact, however, I am guessing Mousam, by the name, and being a text chat is still a call center issue, I bet Mousam was in that same South Africa call center.
So therefore, that is how the A in AT&T has been converted into AFRICA, instead of America, since AT&T has deserted America for any tech support based service. AT&T is very much like the US Govt, where they would rather send the Americans Hard Earned Dollars to Foreign Countries, then cry when crap they buy is of inferior quality, and will not last but a time or two of use.
I use to LOVE Craftsman tools, as they were Proudly Made in the USA! Damn, WTF, the last Vice Grip Pliers I bought, said CHINA right on the side in CAPITAL LETTERS!!! Are You Freaking Kidding Me??? Well, no more Craftsman tools for me, I don't give a damn at any price!
Imagine if you will, that AT&T would just stay here in the Good Ole USA to rake in their Billions of Dollars on hidden fees & fine print on their contracts, yet they have no intentions of honoring their end of the deal as they like to work with "Disappearing Ink", and other BS
Charges, so they can live the Good Life, and "Stick It" to the good, hard working people of the USA.
Imagine that. I think we should all boycott AT&T. So sad that AT&T does not stay in AMERICA as the name states, so, again, AFRICA it will be from now on for AT&T and their silly, scamming Monkey Butt Business!
Here is the chat with Mousam.

My next chat took me to a phone call, which you can listen in below. AT&T records their calls for quality and training purposes, and so do I! I took out any import, personal identifying information on both the recordings, and since the ladies on the other end was so low, which originally I thought my mic did not pick them up, so that is why I did not record any more calls after that point.
So, I went through the entire recording to level out the volumes from my voice and theirs, so you do not get a head ache after listening to the call, like I did when I fixed all the levels so they are more leveled out, and easier on the ears to listen to!
The first recording on the left is what is left of the full call, with nothing else but private, personal information taken out. The call on the right is the short, condensed version with all the hold times, private personal information, and the computer yada yada yada taken out.

OK, after all the calls, and only one of them was recorded by myself, however, AT&T records all of them, so they can go back and verify the recording above. Should AT&T want to send me their recordings, including the ones that I do not have so the volumes are more equal, that would be great!
So the first thing AT&T wanted was to see that I had paid off Spectrum before they gave me a AT&T Gift Card. Seriously? Why would they care about that? If I do not pay Spectrum, then that is between Spectrum and myself, and that is my credit score, not theirs. So, that just seems odd to me.
However, I am guessing that is one of the steps that they require, because of the current economy, a lot of people probably would not be able to financially pay of their phone, so AT&T could get out of paying that Gift Card to the new subscriber.
Personally, we are not in that bad of shape, even though I have been scammed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars! So, below is the proof that I did in fact pay off my phone just a couple days after we got our new phones activated.
I don't freaking play games like AT&T, and so many other Scam Companies, and people who want to be Serial Scammers! That is just Pathetic and a total waste of everyone's time and effort.
Below is my credit card statement of the exact date we paid off our Spectrum Phone contract, and cancelled all of our services with Spectrum.

This first image below of my Spectrum back office, and I believe the phone call above, all took place on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025. The first Spectrum back office image has a messed up scan of the chat I had with a Spectrum tech support agent, looking to see if I could get any kind of a copy of the paid off contract.
AT&T wants me to send in a copy of the payoff, and a copy of my Spectrum back office to verify that I actually paid off my phone. Seriously? That is totally between myself and Spectrum, but, again, that is the games AT&T plays, so here is all the proof for your eyes to see as well, and even though I did as instructed by the AT&T Gift Card Rewards Center, they still turned me down for my $699.52 AT&T Gift Card for my phone pay off!
Then, on top of that, they got our old phone, after we paid it off, and they act like I am robbing them... AT&T sure has a lot to learn to be a legit, honest company. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life, and I can guarantee you, I will never be another customer of AT&T once these contract expires, which we were told, there were no contract on the day of signing the deal! Again, more misrepresentation...
Anyway, our Spectrum account has been cancelled for too long now, so that was not a possibility to get a written contract as AT&T requested, just to make me jump through more Red Tape Hoops. So, I was told by another lady on another call to send in what we had for the back office screen shots, showing proof that the phone was paid off, along with the receipt from the phone being turned into the local AT&T Store, and we should be fine.
Well, as you will see later, that is Incorrect Information. However, the image below shows we have a ZERO Balance with Spectrum with all services, as like I have mentioned, we DO NOT RIP OFF OR SCAM ANYONE OR ANY COMPANY - PERIOD! We are not Low Life Scammers, however, we do expose them as they scam us, as we remain 100% Honest, Ethical, Moral, and we like to sleep with a Clear Conscience at night.
Also, you should NEVER Burn Any Bridges, as you just never know when you may want to go back to an old service provider, or even an old job.
Remember:
"Treat Others The Way You Would Want To Be Treated!"

Well, there you have it... We paid off the phone, as instructed, turned it into the AT&T Store here in town, and done exactly what we were instructed to do, but yet, we are still rejected for our Phone Pay Off, for up to $800.00, as you will see in the image below!
It was a bit under $700.00, so that was not a determining factor at all. They just do not want to tell you the complete process, so then they can say that YOU SCREWED UP, so they do not have to fulfill their end of the agreement.
Which, as you can see here in this write up, and the many other pages of complaints, AT&T does not keep its word with thousands of their customers, and are a TOTAL BS RIP OFF COMPANY that simply Can Not Be Trusted or Believed!!!

So, I have mentioned that the AT&T Door To Door Sales Rep, Mr. Jacob A. Ellis, is Dishonest, and not of good Character. Below, in this short text chat, we will expose this Low Life for the Real Dishonest, Deceptive Person that he Really is, and if he was working for me, he would be FIRED!

As you will see in the Internet Speed test above, again, it started out as being misrepresented, as the speed UP and DOWN is supposed to be about the same since it is Fiber. Well, as you can see in the Internet Speed Test, that is just a total lie that I discovered on Day 1 of my new Fiber Internet Service, as the UP Speed is about HALF of the DOWN Speed. I have tried many times since then, and it is always about half.
TIP: To save Money, and to not be Stressed Out Due to Lies and Misrepresenting all the full facts, just stay far away from the Lying, Scamming, Dishonest AT&T Company, as I have not been impressed at all, and I have been lied to and TOTALLY RIPPED OFF way too much!
When I was with Spectrum, I was NEVER Lied To, NEVER Misrepresented on ANYTHING, and Spectrum ALWAYS KEPT THEIR WORD AND PROMISES - Totally UNLIKE The Misrepresenting AT&T!!!
You have been warned, and this report of course, is just MY EXPERIENCE of being lied to, and ripped off over $2,100.00 from a totally Dishonest Company, and when you look below at the BBB, you will see that there are over 40,000 complaints of other people being lied to, and ripped off as well!
So, from the looks of the chat above, we had Jake, and Thomas, his Door to Door Co Worker, who came up here from FL with him, over for some Egg Rolls. Technically, they are NOT Egg Rolls, but, that is just a common name that most people understand.
My wife is from the Philippines, and they fix LUMPIA. Egg rolls is cabbage and what ever, where LUMPIA is different selections of meat, a few veggies, so, it is a Carnivores Treat, unless you get the Veggie Version! I got the images of LUMPIA below from the Internet, so it is not the ones we fixed that night for Jake & Thomas.

You will see that we had our huge pellet grill going with lots of Carnivore treats, and I sent a pic to Jake, as he wanted to know when we were going to have that cook out, as he sure would like to come experience some more of those Philippines Treats. As you can see, I sent the message to him, and I found it rather odd that he NEVER Replied - Ever!
Hum, so, what does that say about Mr. Jake? Yep, just as I was thinking too, as he has been Caught being Misleading, DeFrauding, and saying what ever he needed to get me to let him in the house, and slam that transfer to AT&T Services. So sad when you have to be a Low Life Serial Scammer & Liar just to make a sale...
Thing is, we are also generous people, so, we fixed enough for all of us, and then, they just never show up. Hum... That's OK, just that much more for us! Actually, it was not hard to find a few people to come on over and join us, as they know, when that grill fires up, it is a massive blessing to the Taste Buds!

Well, I think that is about all I am going to say about Mr. Jake, and AT&T for this write up, however, I did go ahead and make a "Special Video", which you can click on the link below to watch it, this is for AT&T, and I hope you like it.
For the younger crowd, like Jake and Thomas, they may not get this whole theme, however, it is fine. Most of us older generation folk, who mostly grew up with common "Cents", courtesy, respect, morals, being of good character, and all the good human traits era that are now a thing of the past. Such a shame what the world is becoming.
No matter what age you are, I am sure the video below will give you a chuckle, and go... Hum... "Imagine If You Will"...
